Watch the film The film
A feature documentary following Kristal Parke's personal exploration of Indigenous adoption, family, identity and belonging.
The approach
Filmed across two years, the documentary stays close to Kristal and her family while allowing the larger questions around adoption and identity to unfold through lived experience. A number of key 2023 interviews were also filmed on the KFS stage, giving the story a controlled interview base alongside the more intimate family material.
